MachStudio Pro Sales Representatives
High energy Sales Representatives needed immediately for dynamic, fast growing revolutionary real-time 3D workflow visualization software company. StudioGPU develops software and technology that frees digital artists from the creative shackles of time, money and resources. The company’s flagship product, MachStudio Pro empowers artists and designers working in film, broadcast, game development, computer-assisted design (CAD), and pre- and post-production to create and manipulate fully rendered film-quality 3D design and animation in real-time. StudioGPU clients range from top Hollywood and international production studios to global architectural firms to leading engineering and design firms.
StudioGPU is located at the heart of Hollywood, but we will consider top candidates working from home out of town, or even out of state with the understanding that they visit our Hollywood offices on a monthly basis. Previous successful sales experience is a must. Of course, we will provide training on our software for accepted candidates.
Responsibilities
- Acquiring new clients.
- Developing accounts.
- Maintaining and expanding client relationships.
- Generating leads through research and networking.
- Handling incoming sales inquiries.
- Communicating with potential clients in person, by phone, via email and online video conferencing.
- Owning a lead through entire sale cycle - from introduction, demonstration and technical discussion through initial sale and additional sales.
- Coordinating company resources to achieve client success.
- Providing timely forecasts and management reports.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated closer with a can do attitude
- One-on-one corporate sales experience.
- Strong organization skills.
- Experience with a professional application or product.
- Tenacious approach to sales development and closing business.
- Background in 3D is strongly preferred (either in M & E or AEC).
- Effective communication skills.
- Technically savvy with the ability to learn and understand new software.
- Background in arts preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Maya, 3ds Max, XSI, SolidWorks, ArchiCAD, Revit, SketchUp Pro and/or Rhino preferred.
- Experience with SalesForce preferred.
Work Location
- Primarily in Hollywood office.
- Some travel to local clients.
- Possibly some non-local and international travel.
Compensation
- Commission-only pay structure.

Technical Writer Intern
StudioGPU is looking for an intern to help us expand our user support and training materials. Duties include assisting the Lead Technical Writer in editing existing training materials, creating and updating tutorial and user guide content and formatting material into Madcap Flare software. Person must be a solid writer, very tech savvy, detail oriented and interested in technical writing. Knowledge of 3D software, lighting, rendering and/or compositing a major plus.
This is an intern position and there is a small stipend. Please currently live in Los Angeles.
